Do you need a web hosting and have a dilemma which one to choose, read a review of the best web hostings with test and maybe I can help you in your choice. I’ll enumerate a few web hosting companies, the best on the market right now in 2018 with few words about price/features.
Top players in web hosting right now are WP Engine, SiteGround, HostGator, iPage, A2 Hosting and InMotion Hosting.
First, let me tell you that I had experience with all above-listed web hosting companies and I can tell you I didn’t have any major issues with all of them just minor issues with support and one major issue with hosting plan.
Wp Engine is the best managed WordPress hosting by far. A little bit on the pricy side but with the features included you get a lot more than you will get with other hostings mentioned here. I wrote in detail review of WP Engine why is the best hosting in 2019.
SiteGround, great web hosting company, stable, safe, best support compared to the above mentioned. They are offering great plans, with over ten plans they can meet all users, from first-time users up to professionals. For first time users or users who only need a website which will look good, they have great cPanel with one click install WordPress, Joomla or Drupal and one-click install whole web site with plugins.
Shared plans are great for testing and entry-level users, for small websites up to maybe medium websites depend on the optimization on the website itself. Virtual private servers are great for semi-professional and professional users, great for medium websites up to large with heavy content. Dedicated servers are fastest sure if you can afford one, they are for big companies and sites, big web applications.
World No.1 in selling domains is GoDaddy, stay away from this web hosting it’s awful, I mention him because has best domain deals.
IPage is the cheapest web hosting you can find on the internet that is worth mentioning because has great price/performance ratio. iPage is the best for your money. iPage is a great web hosting company and like all others, they have shared, virtual private server – VPS and dedicated server plans but they also have just for WordPress hosting. From my point of view buying WordPress managed to host is useless unless you know nothing about WordPress but even then you can hire a developer for a small price. Only one worth mentioning WordPress hosting is WP Engine but cost a lot.
Hostgator is awesome. I think he is very close to top one from all of mentioned above. Great plans, great support and worth to mention they have Windows option on a dedicated server. Hostgator is optimized for WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, and Magneto as they say 100% Magneto compatible.
Here comes the part where I had a major problem with hosting plan and that’s the HostGator’s cloud hosting. It’s horrible. So many problems that I need to go back to shared hosting, everything went back to normal. Read the HostGator review in detail about this problem. I still give HostGator five stars if you are in the cheap and starter things.
A2 Hosting is in the middle. It’s hard for me to write for A2 Hosting because it’s so similar to SiteGround but the hype is more to the SiteGround side. A2 Hosting same as SiteGround fro these 5 mentioned have data centers in the USA, Europe, and Asia which is great when you for local online business. This way you don’t need CDN and from my tests, web hosting servers are always faster in response time compared to CDN but imagine your web hosting is in Asia and someone is visiting from the USA, he will load the website so slow because of distance. CDNs are great if you have a word wide online business.
InMotion Hosting is the best business hosting because instead of shared he has business plans. SSL is included in business plans which is great for SEO in 2018 because Google said it’s ranking factor.
Other than that good web hosting with great support, it’s fast enough. Worth trying.
